In order to understand and mark Black History Month, ATFA organized a panel titled "Understanding and Celebrating the Black History Month".
The panel hosted two important speakers: Arthuretta Holmes Martin, an activist and professional storyteller, and Donald Craig, a community leader, and advocate. The program was moderated by Shirley Ginwright, a Civil Rights Activist.
The speakers highlighted the contributions the Black people made for the USA and the entire world and the historical context.
The participants were very interested and enjoyed the program.
