Loudoun Interfaith Bridges and the Loudoun chapter of Mom’s Demand Action hosted the remembrance program for the Sandy Hook massacre and other gun violence victims at Northern Virginia Baha’i Center.
Reverends and Rabbis, parents and students, law enforcement and government leaders all mourned together, honoring the lives lost ten years ago at the Sandy Hook massacre. The names of all 26 victims, plus 26 additional gun violence victims, were read aloud. That preceded a moment of silence.
It was a very emotional yet important remembrance to raise awareness of gun violence and the measures we can take.
