On March 20, the American Turkish Friendship Association (ATFA) had the honor of hosting our longtime friends from the Unity of Fairfax congregation for a memorable interfaith Iftar dinner. Held during the holy month of Ramadan, the evening was a celebration of shared values, hospitality, and meaningful dialogue.
Guests enjoyed delicious traditional Turkish food, uplifting live music, and warm conversations that strengthened our bonds of friendship and mutual respect. Events like this highlight the power of coming together across faiths and cultures to foster peace, understanding, and community spirit.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Rev. Russ and our friends from Unity of Fairfax for their continued friendship and for joining us in this special moment of spiritual reflection and fellowship.
A special thank you also goes out to our devoted ATFA volunteers who graciously prepared and hosted the evening. Their generous efforts reflect the heart of our mission to build strong, compassionate communities through service and dialogue.
ATFA is proud to continue offering interfaith events that connect people of all backgrounds and beliefs in meaningful ways. We look forward to more shared experiences that inspire unity and hope.
