The American Turkish Friendship Association (ATFA) is proud to present Community Iftar Dinner—a large-scale, inclusive community event bringing together residents of Northern Virginia.
At the heart of the event is a powerful symbol of togetherness: community tables where neighbors gather to share food, conversation, and connection. People from all backgrounds will come together, reflecting the spirit of unity and the idea that we are stronger when we gather around the same table.
Designed as a welcoming, family-friendly celebration, Community Iftar will feature a festive atmosphere with food available through local vendors, long-table seating that encourages interaction, cultural elements, children’s activities, and a warm, inclusive environment open to all. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food if they prefer.
The call to prayer will mark the breaking of the fast, with designated prayer areas available for those observing.
