Home Iftar Gatherings – An Invitation
This Ramadan, we warmly invite you to take part in our Home Iftar Gatherings, a special initiative of the American Turkish Friendship Association (ATFA) that brings people together by opening not only our homes, but also our hearts.
Ramadan is a time of reflection, generosity, and community. Each evening at sunset, Muslims gather for iftar, the fast-breaking meal shared after a day of fasting. Experiencing iftar around a home table offers a simple yet meaningful way to connect—through shared food, open conversation, and genuine friendship.
As we mark America’s 250th year, these gatherings also reflect a core American value: neighbors coming together across differences to build understanding, trust, and lasting community—one table at a time.
