About the event
Join ATFA for a special family-friendly field trip to George Washington’s Mount Vernon as part of our ongoing America250 educational and community engagement programs. Together, we will explore the historic estate of America’s first president while learning about the early history, values, and development of the United States in an engaging and welcoming environment.
Participants will have access to the Mount Vernon estate grounds, museum, audio tour, and seasonal exhibits, while also enjoying a meaningful day of reflection, learning, and community connection with families and friends from across Northern Virginia.
This program is designed to encourage historical understanding, civic awareness, and shared community experiences for participants of all ages. Transportation options will also be available upon registration.
