Fairfax Interfaith Friendship Walk

Renewed Hope
After a testing year, springtime is shining with signs of normalization in the country as well as our community. While the efforts to defeat the pandemic begin to deliver concrete outcomes, a sense of renewed hope is arising in every corner of life.
It is in such a context, which blends the pain of a difficult year with hopes that Divine Grace will generously bestow gifts, we would like to continue the traditional Fairfax Interfaith Friendship Walk from where we left. The theme for this year, tellingly, is “Renewed Hope”!
The three-hour walk, as always, will feature a route that goes through the heart of Fairfax with stops at a number of places of worship. Each congregation will host a short interaction during which they will welcome the participants and give information about their mission as well as community work.
Join us to walk and talk!
We invite congregations, families, and individuals to join us in the Fairfax Interfaith Friendship Walk. Let’s make this year’s event an opportunity to remember the victims of the pandemic, recognize the heroic work of health workers, celebrate the interfaith harmony that we enjoy in our town, and altogether express our gratitude to our Creator and ask for continued blessings!
