ATFA celebrated Ramadan Bayram on Sept 20th. Approximately 1000 American and Turkish families gathered at Marshall HS in Fairfax and shared a Bayram meal together in friendship. |

ATFA Ramadan Tent has started serving the community on Semptember 7th 2009. We offered iftar dinners to 400 people each night for 6 days. |

ATFA celebrated Ramadan with the Fairfax City Fire and Rescue Department, station 3. One evening, the Department took the opportunity to come to ATFA and share and iftar meal with families, and even had the time to show our children the fire engine and its equipment. |

The 5th Annual Ashura Making Contest was held at ATFA on January 24th. The event started with a video presentation by five high school students; Rana Yurtsever, Sabiha-Seniha Sungur and Betul-Busra sisters who also participated in the contest. |
