A delegation of parliamentarians from Turkey’s main opposition party, Republican People’s Party (known as CHP), visited American Turkish Friendship Association (ATFA). On January 18, 2010, ATFA invited Virginia Senator Jim Webb to its community center. Senator Webb came and met with many members of the Turkish community in northern Virginia. Members of ATFA enjoyed greatly the opportunity to introduce themselves to the Senator, and learn more about the role of Senator Webb in our local community.
